On the weekend of 6 - 7th September we went to the 'Ginetta' Festival at Mallory Park Motor Racing Circuit. My Husband runs a racing team of 4 cars (Ginetta G20's) and this was the 9th round of the G20 Cup.  Having been diagnosed with Breast Cancer in December 07 and subsequently had a mastectomy, chemotherapy and currently undergoing radiotherapy I have been grateful for the support of the 1066 Pink Ladies.  These ladies are tireless in their fund raising and also help new sufferers to understand all that they are going through.  I felt that they needed a collection for themselves and so, to say thank you, with the help of my niece Kate we spent the weekend wondering round the paddock in and out of the awnings of all the drivers and teams shaking our big pink bucket. We were received very well and everyone was very generous. We collected £289.68p which was presented to the ladies at the last meeting.  Our drivers did very well and all came back safely. One driver is now running 3rd in the championship with a chance of 2nd overall. Once again many thanks and please take a look at the pictures of the weekend.
